Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish actor and model. Born on 11th November 1966. Alison Doody first made a feature film debut as an actress and Bond actress on the set of A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she was as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. Doody portrayed Nazi sympathizing archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte as Taffin in 1988. Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Approached by a photographer Doody began to model that eventually led to the profession of commercial modeling. Doody did not wear glamour, nudity and thongs during her modeling career. After getting noticed by the directors who were casting an upcoming James Bond new film, Doody was cast in a minor part in Jenny Flex as in A View to a Kill. Doody appears in John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3. She is listed as one of the 12 most promising actors in 1986. 38. Doody was just 18 years old at the time of her first appearance in the Bond role. Today, she is the youngest Bond girl. In 1987, Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying where she played IRA member Siobhan Doovan. Doody was a voice actor in the 1987 TV adaptation of The Secret Garden appearing as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias in a dream. In the Jim Henson fantasy episode The Storyteller in 1988, Doody played Sapsorrow alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The actress starred alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathizer as well as a archaeologist from the forensic field in the 1989 film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. The film also starred Sean Connery as Indy's father Doody is a co-star with three actors in the role of James Bond. In 2011, she was set to take on the role of lead for The Asphyx remake, but this project did not go ahead. In 2011, she started the first of two seasons on the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson. In 2014, she starred as Pam Jefferson on We Still Kill the Old Way. The 21st of November, 2018, she was awarded by the Almeria Tierra de Cine award and was awarded an award in the Almeria Walk of Fame.
